Fulfilling the Great Commission through

Operation S.A.V.E.

Please allow me to share
the burden of my heart for
tribal villages in
Burma and Thailand.

Dear Friend,

A few years ago, while leaving the last Lahu tribal village with my good friend, Pastor Yawla Khamchareon, he explained to me why his own people across the border in Burma were experiencing such hardships - and why they were so receptive to the gospel. He told about their difficulties... isolation, poor crop conditions and disease. He told me that many Christians among the hill-tribes would share the gospel with others, if only they had a Bible and some practical ways to show God's love. I saw a great opportunity for the spread of the gospel!

In the past, we have received offerings to help the Lahu tribe with their physical and spiritual needs - but there is so much left to do. Now, doors have opened for us to serve the Karen and Hmong tribes, too-in both Burma and Thailand. Based on past experience, I know we can reach entire villages with simple gifts of Bibles and relief supplies!

It was in a time of prayer that the Lord instructed me to launch the relief project called "Operation S.A.V.E.", which stands for "Serve A Village Evangelism". The purpose is to provide tribal evangelists with materials that will help them to save lives and win their own people to Christ. Life-saving items include medicine for malaria and dysentery, mosquito nets and blankets-and most importantly, Bibles and Christian literature. Three times before, we have conducted this project, with your help. Each time, the practical expression of God's love has allowed native workers to preach Jesus, evangelize entire villages and establish churches. Many hundreds have been saved! (Exact numbers are hard to document in these remote areas.) Now, with your participation in "Operation S.A.V.E. IV", many more will have the opportunity to live and embrace the love of God.

For more information on how this project works, go to strategy or peruse the other pages on Operation S.A.V.E. But please help. Your gift will be used wisely. Charlie Milbrodt, Director of Living Word Ministries in Chiangmai, Thailand, has agreed to see that all supplies will get to those we intend to serve. We want to make the first shipment right away, so we desperately need funds NOW.

Here's the best part: Again, business people have stepped forward to provide matching funds for "Operation S.A.V.E.". These funds will double your gift! Due to matching funds, blessing tribal people in Southeast Asia is much more affordable. In fact, a gift of only $525 will help an entire village - by providing Bibles, Christian literature and relief materials, plus paying to transport the items there! Perhaps you or your church, prayer group, or Bible study would like to help "S.A.V.E." one tribal village. Thank you in advance!

In His Service,

Craig R. DeMo

P.S. Please act NOW. Our goal is to serve at least 30 villages as soon as possible. With matching funds - which doubles your donation - we can accomplish more than ever for the Kingdom of God! Let's seize the opportunity! Just go to Get Involved!

P.P.S. Terri and I are agreeing with you that, not only will your gift multiply through matching funds-but will also multiply back to you through God's blessing on your life! Proverbs 19:17 & 28:27, Philippians 4:19, 2 Corinthians 9:10-12.
