In 1999, the following villages were served through Operation S.A.V.E.:
- Non Yon Village (70 families)
- Aw Law Village (24 families)
- Non Kamu Village (120 families)
- Haw Yaw Village (70 families)
- Meh Peh Taw Village (100 families)
- Pa Peh Village (50 families)
- Non Po Village (40 families)
- Son Kong Village (50 families)
- Meh Yong Village (37 families)
- Huey Yah Sai Village (40 families)
- Ja Shu Village (50 families)
- Hui Nam Dip Village (40 families)
All of the villages mentioned are located in Myanmar (Burma). A clear gospel message was preached in each village, resulting in new Christians and churches!
Approx. 700 families were served through the last Operation S.A.V.E.!!
Each village received:
- 25 blankets
- 15 mosquito nets
- 1 medicine kit, consisting of
- 4000 doses of malaria medicine
- 2000 doses of fever medicine
- 1000 doses of dysentery medicine
- 9 boxes of disinfectant cream
- 8-9 boxes of band-aids
- 15 Bibles1
- 5 hymn books2
- Rice3 (amount per village unspecified)
1 Of course, this wasn't enough! This time, with your help, we plan to supply each village with 65 Bibles each!
2 Our plan for Operation S.A.V.E. IV calls for giving evangelism/discipleship materials rather than hymn books.
3 At that time, the rice harvest was much worse than it is now. Currently, it is impractical to transport large sacks of rice.
