What is Operation S.A.V.E.?
Operation S.A.V.E., which stands for "Serve A Village Evangelism", is an outreach of Ambassador Ministries. Operation S.A.V.E. is strategically targeted to reach indigenous peoples of Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). Because it is a relief project with an evangelistic thrust, Operation S.A.V.E. meets both the physical and spiritual needs of this region.
Operation S.A.V.E. - When?
Right NOW! In 1996, the Lord instructed Craig DeMo of Ambassador Ministers to begin reaching out to tribal villages in Southeast Asia. God named this outreach “Operation S.A.V.E.” Since that time, there have been three successful launches of Operation S.A.V.E. (1996, 1997 and 1999), all of which have borne the fruit of souls won and churches established – at little cost! Operation S.A.V.E. - Why?
Isolation, due to war, periodic drought and other factors have created untold hardships among indigenous peoples of Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). In order to survive, many tribal villagers need basics such as malaria medicine, mosquito nets and blankets to stay warm. Armed with these basic necessities, plus Bibles and Christian literature, evangelistic teams can share the gospel of Jesus Christ and establish churches.
Who does Operation S.A.V.E. reach?
Operation S.A.V.E. is presently targeting the Karen, the Lahu and the Hmong tribes. Our goal in this phase of Operation S.A.V.E. is to serve 30 villages with Bibles, Christian literature and life-saving relief supplies.
How will Operation S.A.V.E. be accomplished?
Ambassador Ministries is cooperating with Living Word Ministries International and indigenous tribal ministers of Southeast Asia.
